Many companies are concerned that the use of remanufactured cartridges in their machines will void the warranty. In fact, this is not the case.

Hewlett Packard for example issued this statement in March 2000.

"The use of a non-HP or refilled toner cartridge alone does not affect either your warranty or any maintenance contract you may have with your printer. However, if an HP LaserJet printer failure or damage is found to be attributable directly to the use of a non-HP toner cartridge, HP will not repair the printer free of charge. In this case, standard time and materials charges will be applied to service your printer for that particular failure or damage"

If any Toner Action Gold Coast cartridge is found defective, it will be replaced or credited. We warrant that our cartridges will not cause damage to any equipment relating to that cartridge.

Q.So what happens in the unlikely event of a Toner Action cartridge which does damage the printer?

A. We guarantee to repair the printer, or arrange for a qualified repair centre to undertake that repair, provided that we have been advised of the problem and been given the opportunity to inspect the printer before repairs are undertaken.
